Certified Athletic Trainer

Whether you're on or off the field, you'll definitely want Amanda Marchino on your sideline. Fortunately for us, she's on the Guymon Physical Therapy & Wellness Squad and ready to serve our local area athletes.

Amanda comes to us with a Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Iowa and a Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences from Mercy College of Health Sciences. She jumped into Athletic Training because of a high school mentor in the field who served as the spark that set her flame on fire.

As a seasoned athlete who participated in sports including high school basketball and softball, college club water polo, and was part of the professional women's football at the University of Iowa, Amanda is ripe with knowledge in the kinesthetics of the human body and enjoys the fast pace of the sidelines as well as the rehabilitation process found only in the world of sports. The cross between medicine and athletics propels Amanda who loves being able to give back to the community by way of her passion. Her areas of expertise include triage, high-pressure situations, unique taping techniques and proprioception training.

Coaching and playing basketball are amongst her hobbies as are DIY knitting and smacking her husband on the PlayStation.
