Nick brings an expertise in geriatrics and orthopedics to Guymon Physical Therapy & Wellness. He’s also an enlisted, active duty soldier for the U.S. Army with a wide knowledge base in loading dock operations having worked previously with UPS and FedEx Freight.
Nick attended Kansas City Community College in Kansas City, Kansas, where he completed the requisites for an Associates Degree in Applied Science with an emphasis on physical therapy. He went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas. He became quite skilled working with the elderly while employed by Good Samaritan, an assisted living community for seniors.
Nick is one of those guys that loves watching patients overcome obstacles as he pushes patients to their limits during and post-recovery. “It’s great watching patients improve and do more then they think they can.”
HIs pursuit in physical therapy stems from a strong desire to directly and positively impact individuals’ lives in tandem with a curiosity to understand more about what is going on with his own legs.
Nick’s plan is to continue progressing his skill set and expertise as a therapist to better serve future clients.
If Nick had have chosen an alternate career path, you’d likely have to travel abroad to learn English from him as he’d be a professor overseas somewhere. He enjoys hiking trails with his dog, kayaking, watching sports and movies, and is an active participant at church.
